Prizes. So many prizes.
Anna’s Kindness volunteers helped run the carnival portion of this year’s Community Action Network Resource Fair. The fair provides information and support for under-resourced families in the area, and the carnival was a way for the children in those families to play games and win prizes while their parents visited with the different agencies.
Clague Middle School seventh grader Tai Karir, Forsythe sixth graders Estelle and Olivia Haft, and eighth grader Alex LeFort were joined by their parents to help run the games and hand out prizes to the children Saturday morning.
Each game involved beanbags, and all required steady hands and a careful aim. No problem for the children, who earned plenty of tickets, which they then took over to the prize table where Anna’s mom Fran was handing out wonderful toys, games, and art kits to the winners. And everyone was a winner.
Thank you to Community Action Network and Frankie Moore for allowing us to be involved in your mission of service to the community.
