SMS Helping Hawks create blessing bags

Teacher Suzy Gab’s 7th grade Helping Hawks classes at Southwest Middle School put together bags of clothes, toiletries, snacks, and other items for the homeless and less fortunate at the Cornerstone Mission men’s and women’s shelters. The mission of the Helping Hawks classes is, as you may have guessed, to help others so this was a perfect project for the students.

There is expected to be more than 200 bags filled by the students. The blessing bags will be delivered Nov. 9 to both Cornerstone Mission shelters by the Anna LeFort Service Committee.
